Higdon & Associates was established in 1987. We specialize in real estate valuation of single family residences, small income property and manufactured/mobile homes in Northern California; more specifically, the Bay Area. The primary counties we serve are Contra Costa and Alameda counties. We also serve San Mateo, Santa Clara, San Francisco and Solano counties.

Before Higdon & Associates was established the owner/principle, Glen Higdon, worked in several capacities within the real estate lending field for 11 years. His experience includes:

• Underwriter, review appraiser/field appraiser for a Mortgage Banking firm
• Loan office management for a major Savings and Loan responsible for supervision of escrow officers, loan officers (agents) and appraisal staffs including several years as Chief Appraiser after serving as a review and field appraiser
• Coordinator of training programs that instructed appraisers, streamlined and expedited the appraisal process, increasing productivity and minimizing mistakes, earning excellent audits from examiners
